Natural NZ Music Festival is Natural Touring's Flagship festival event and largest showcase of premier Kiwi music (and only festival of its kind) outside of New Zealand.
Born from a casual conversation in a Gold Coast pub, Natural NZ Music Festival is the dream that has become a reality and in its fourth year of running, the 2014 festival season will see Natural taking on new heights, expanding from its birthplace of Perth and debuting at Brisbane’s iconic Riverstage.
With the highest population of NZ cuzzies living in Queensland, it was only "natural" to bring the festival to the Sunshine State and Natural Touring is pumped to share this special event with its East Coast brothers and sisters.
Having already showcased top NZ acts in the past such as Katchafire, Kora, Tiki Taane, Ladi6, Shihad and Hollie Smith, the 2014 Natural NZ Music Festival line-up is set to be its best yet, featuring drum & bass powerhouse, Shapeshifter, NZ music legend, Dave Dobbyn, reggae-funk outfit, The Black Seeds, roots-reggae heavy weights, House of Shem and Sons of Zion, hip-hop masters Scribe and P-Money as well as pop-rock songstress, Anika Moa.
Natural’s success is a testament to Aussie-based Kiwis and their passion for their homeland, and with music another integral way of staying connected to their roots, Natural NZ Music Festival offers a little piece of home.
Red Hill Auditorium is a world class, multi-purpose outdoor concert venue designed as a fully tiered circular auditorium offering fantastic sight lines to the stage for all patrons. However, getting an uninterrupted view of your favourite artist performing is not all you’ll see. Beyond the stage you can view stretches of a panoramic vista of the cityscape. Once the sun goes down and city lights come to life, the picture is completed perfectly with a truly breathtaking backdrop. This amazing venue is easily accessible from across the Perth regions with our Event Shuttle Service. Shuttles leave from heaps of iconic local pub locations around Perth, covering the entire metropolitan area. Red Hill Auditorium is a hub of everything creative including music, festivals, theatre, film and comedy.
For all information on the venue and the shuttle service head to Red Hill Gigs
Riverstage is located at 59 Gardens Point Road within the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens and next to the Brisbane river. Riverstage plays host to many local, national and international concerts and events each year. Public transport is recommended due to the lack of public car parking near the venue. You can even get a train from the Gold Coast. Riverstage is approximately 1.1 kilometres from South Bank train station and 2 kilometres from Central Station.
